Mac Santa: A way to make money and spend it just as fast
This December has seen the return of Mac Santa a promotion offering festive discounts on many Mac products.
Via my company Mamooba I submitted my own product TrackTime and was very plesed with the results when it received its special day on the 3rd of December.
However Mac Santa has become a problem to me as well as each day I check whats on offer and see something I like. I cant go into my normal procrastination mode and spend weeks considering a $20 purchase before I eventually forget about it because I am now considering another $20 purchase. With Mac Santa the 20% discount last just one day so its buy now or live to regret those few $ extra you now have to spend when you finally decide you want it.
So far on Mac Santa I have purchased
Clarion from Red-Sweater Software I am terrible when reading a pice of music at identifying inrtervals and hopefully this software will train my ear.
BusySync from Busy Mac (2 Copies) so my wife can at last track my calendar.
And this morning I have purchased Hazel 2 from Noodlesoft in the vain hope that I might actually get my hard drive organized.
