Mott the Hoople - All the Young Dudes

The Review

A classic early 70's rock album containing the now iconic title track written (and often performed) by David Bowie. If you like 70's rock you will like this. There is nothing complicated about it but it's in no way boring. Other than the title track, no track stands out as amazing but also they are all good enough that I was happy to listen to them and will probably listen to them again.

Favourite Track: Ready For Love / After Lights

Why Does This Review Exist?

I am working my way through Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of all time list and reviewing each album.

  • Each album is listened to only once.
  • The album is used as background music while working so how much attention I pay to it will depend on what I am doing at the time.
  • I do no research about the album or the artist.
  • The review is a one off, one moment opinion that may change with further listening.
