This album is 39 minutes of pure pleasure. I love B.B King but had never heard this album before. I will definitely be hearing it again.
It's a live album recorded in a jail. The music is incredibly tight while being raw and edgy. The show contains humour and real passion. I especially enjoyed the boo's given to the sheriff and the judge when introduced at the beginning of the show.
I listened to this one late at night while catching up with stuff. Night time is the perfect time for the blues so this album probably got listened to in close to ideal circumstances.
If you have never listened to B.B King give this one a try , you won't regret it.

Why Does This Review Exist?
I am working my way through Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of all time list and reviewing each album.
- Each album is listened to only once.
- The album is used as background music while working so how much attention I pay to it will depend on what I am doing at the time.
- I do no research about the album or the artist.
- The review is a one off, one moment opinion that may change with further listening.
